Roopak's Special Sambar Masala
Ingredients:
- Coriander, Cumin, Chillies, Turmeric, Dalchana, Cinamon, Mustard, Dal Arhar, Fenugreek, Asafoetida, Salt.
Usage:
- Boil arhar dal and keep aside. Fry chopped onions, tomatoes, whole dry red chilies, mustard seeds and curry leaves to a mashy consistency, add the Sambar masala. Add this to the boiled dal and cook on low heat stirring steadily from time to time for 15 – 20 minutes.
